Doll Faces / Puppen Gesichter

The human face disrupts the beautiful yet stiff doll-face surface. Mimicking the doll’s expression the human face attempts to fit its mirror image. For a brief moment the intimate fusion succeeds and consequently one doubts whether the apparently animated being is really alive; or conversely whether the lifeless object might not be in fact animated.
